The Kansas City Chiefs (11-3) still control their own destiny in the race to the top of the AFC, but Sunday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks (8-6) will be crucial. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, they could be without some important players in the Emerald City.

Wide receiver Sammy Watkins and cornerback Kendall Fuller will not practice on Thursday, according to The Athletic’s Nate Taylor. Watkins has not played since the Chiefs’ Nov. 19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams (11-3), leaving Kansas City without a starting wide receiver.

The Chiefs seemed optimistic about Fuller’s odds of playing after he got a wrist surgery last week, but so far, he has yet to practice this week.

Right tackle Mitchell Schwartz, who has not missed a snap since entering the league in 2012, did not practice on Wednesday. However, he was limited on Wednesday, which could be a sign of progress.

Starters Cam Erving and Tyreek Hill were full participants, while Spencer Ware was limited. Eric Berry, who played in his first NFL game in more than a year against the Los Angeles Chargers (11-3) last week, was a full participant. Berry was held out of the second half of the Chargers game as a precaution.
