The Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks are set to square off on Friday night in what will be each team's third NFL preseason game of 2012.

The contest is set to get underway at 8 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium. If you don't live in one of the local television markets or can't get to a TV, you can watch a live stream online at preseason.nfl.com.

The Chiefs are 1-1 in the preseason, defeating the Cardinals and losing to the Rams. They open the season on Sept.9 against the Falcons.

Tamba Hali won't suit up for Kansas City when they take on Atlanta, but he is eligible to play against Seattle. The linebacker was suspended for Week 1 after violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Brandon Flowers might be ready in two weeks, but he definitely won't be on the field on Friday. The cornerback has yet to play in the preseason with a heel injury. The Chiefs have suffered without Flowers, allowing Sam Bradford to throw for two touchdowns in their last exhibition game.

On the bright side for the Chiefs, Matt Cassel has returned strong from an injury riddled 2011 season. He's completed 15 of 24 passes for 209 yards, with one touchdown and no picks.

The Seahawks are perfect this preseason, beating the Titans and Broncos. They open their season against the Cardinals.

Without an established veteran quarterback on the roster, the starting job is up for grabs. Seattle signed Matt Flynn with the intention of making him the starter, but Russell Wilson is giving the former Packers backup some competition.

The rookie from Wisconsin has outperformed Flynn thus far, completing 67 percent of his passes for 279 yards. He has thrown three touchdowns and one interception, while also running for a score.

Wilson will get the start against the Chiefs after Flynn started the previous two games. Flynn signed a three-year, $26 million contract in the offseason, so head coach Pete Carroll could give him the edge when making a final decision.

Prediction: Both teams look pretty sharp after two games. While the starters will play into the third quarter, having both Wilson and Flynn vying for a starting job could help the Seahawks pull away in the fourth quarter.

Predicted Score: Seattle 27, Kansas City 20
