Kanye West Avoids Kim Kardashian As She Struggles To See Him, Says Source
Kanye West is reportedly avoiding wife Kim Kardashian following his Twitter rant against her in which he made explosive revelations about their relationship .
A source told TMZ that even since the 43-year-old rapper travelled to South Carolina for his first-ever presidential rally last weekend, there has been very little communication between the couple. He then jetted off to Wyoming.
A day after his rally, West went on a Twitter rant against Kardashian in which he said she tried to "lock him up."
"Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie ‘Get Out,'" he had tweeted. In another tweet, he said he wanted to divorce his wife.
His rant was alarming and Kardashian has since been struggling to reach him. However, he is not answering her calls and also not letting her meet him, the source told TMZ.
Meanwhile, Kardashian took to Instagram earlier this week to address West’s bipolar disorder.
"As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I've never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye's right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health," she wrote.
"People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try," she added.
Reports stated that West’s childhood friends were by his side in Wyoming in order to help the rapper seek medical treatment.
"They are very concerned about his mental health and taking action. They are working to get him the help he needs. He's been seen by a doctor. He was assessed, and the assessment on Monday determined that he did not need immediate hospitalization and that he was in a stable mental state at the time. Those close to him are concerned, and this is everyone’s top priority to make sure that he’s safe and getting the help he needs," a source told People.
