Is Kanye West Still Wearing Wedding Ring Despite Kim Kardashian Divorce?

It appears Kanye West still likes wearing his wedding ring amid his divorce from estranged wife Kim Kardashian.

The juicy bit was confirmed by West’s good friend DJ Khaled, who posted a snap of the Yeezy founder on Instagram Wednesday. The black and white photo was taken by the record producer when West dropped by his house to listen to his new album “Khaled Khaled” ahead of its release on Friday.

“TRUE STORY: KANYE STOPPED BY MY HOUSE AT 8 AM THE OTHER DAY! I DIDNT KNOW HE WAS COMING!” Khaled wrote, adding, “You know when you get this expression that it’s sounding AMAZING! this album GODS HANDS IS ALL OVER IT.”

In the photo, West is seen seated while throwing both of his hands in the air and sporting an expression that shows how deeply he was moved by the music. Interestingly, the wedding ring on West’s finger is very visible in the snap.

Many netizens quickly reacted to the post, with several commenting on the fact that West is still wearing his wedding band despite the two months that have passed since Kardashian filed for divorce.

“Kanye is still using his ring,” one wrote with a tear emoji.

“Why does he still have his wedding ring?” another asked.

“Thought he was divorcing Kim. Why does he still have that ring?” a third user commented.

It was not the first time that West was seen rocking his wedding band despite his estranged wife’s move to file for divorce in February. The “Fade” hitmaker was also spotted by Page Six wearing the ring while out in Los Angeles a week after Kardashian’s filing.

Rumors started swirling late last year that West and Kardashian were drifting apart amid the rapper’s 2020 presidential campaign. Reports then claimed in January that the two were no longer living together.

All the speculations were confirmed when the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star officially filed for divorce on Feb. 19 after nearly seven years of marriage.

Earlier this month, unnamed sources told Page Six that West was unhappy with how media reports made it seem that Kardashian initiated the divorce. The Yeezy designer allegedly gave Kardashian permission to file for divorce to “give her dignity” since he has had enough after noticing that the only thing they had in common was their children.

While West appears to be focused on work and on moving forward with his life, Kardashian has been linked to CNN political contributor Van Jones. However, there is still no confirmation regarding their rumored relationship.
