Karlie Kloss Nude Shoot Proves Supermodel is 'The New Body’

It is no wonder that Karlie Kloss has been dubbed The New Body (sorry, Elle Macpherson). Her 5-foot, 11-inch frame, complete with toned abs and legs for days, is quite exceptional.

Kloss appears on the cover of the December 2011 issue of Vogue Italia and poses naked for the editorial spread inside.

The feature, photographed by famed photographer Steven Meisel, has tongues wagging at the 19-year-old model who has been deemed the hottest young phenomenon in years.

Meisel has said that she is a model right down to her fingertips.

The cover shot showcases a side profile of Kloss revealing a bit of her derriere in a thight-split dress. Inside, readers will see Kloss in the buff wearing just a hat and stilettos.

The title for this spread is Body by Kloss with the subtitle The (new) Body, as her physique has been deemed the most coveted of all.

Kloss is no stranger to maximum exposure. She has bared some skin before. She shot a topless beauty editorial for Allure magazine in September. She strutted down the runway in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in her skivvies. And she wore a mesh dress in Chanel's Spring 2012 show that fully exposed her goods.

The 14-page Vogue editorial solidifies Kloss as major contender in the world of supermodels.

Kloss has been in the industry since she was just 14-years-old. The Chicago-native began her career modeling for Abercrombie. In 2008, at just 16-years-old, she walked 31 runways at New York Fashion Week. The brunette beauty has been going full-speed ahead ever since.

Kloss is classically beautiful, a willowy girl with regal features and long straight hair. She was a ballet dancer and enjoys baking cookies in her spare time. She even has some model cohorts, including Chanel Iman, and considers Molly Simms her mentor.

The young beauty has come under scrutiny for her weight. Back in 2008 there were rumors that she underwent treatment for anorexia.

At the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after-party, Kloss supposedly caught the attention of famous actor (and notorious playboy) Leonardo DiCaprio. He couldn't take his eyes off her, reported The New York Post.
