Rihanna rang the New Year in with style this year, hosting a party at her $14. 6 million penthouse in New York City. Among the guests was her close friend, model Cara Delevingne. The 25-year-old’s personal chef, Debbie Solomon, prepared a feast for the singer and her friends before they all headed to Jay Z’s 40/40 club in Manhattan.

Wearing a sexy black satin crop top, white slacks and a white blazer, it is evident why Rihanna is seen as one of the most fashion-forward celebrities.

Meanwhile, Rihanna’s nemesis Karrueche Tran rang in the New Year with on-again boyfriend Chris Brown. Tran shared an intimate photo of the pair on Instagram Monday.

It seems the two are getting serious again, after Brown broke up with her an unspecified number of times to be with Rihanna. Last October, Brown admitted he is in love with both women. The 24-year-old singer released a video in which he shares his feelings about the realities of love and asks if it is possible to be in love with two women at once.

"Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know if that’s possible, but for me, I feel like that,” Brown admits in a video, “The Real Chris Brown.”

While Brown may no longer be in her life, Rihanna certainly did not appear to be concerned as she celebrates the start of 2014. And why should she be? As far as her career is concerned, Rihanna is on top of the world. In 2013, she made history by scoring her 13^th Billboard No. 1 with her song “The Monster,” which features Eminem. She now ties with Michael Jackson as the pop stars with the most No. 1 singles.
