Karrueche Tran Unconcerned About Chris Brown’s Drunken Partying After BET Awards: Report

Though he appears to have taken a step backward on his reported plans to clean up his act, Chris Brown’s attendance at a BET Awards afterparty apparently didn't upset one of his closest allies.

Brown took to the Hollywood club Playhouse on June 29 to celebrate his return to the stage at this year’s BET Awards and the release of his new single, “Flame.” But it was his exit from the venue that had some people concerned he may have already returned to his hard-partying ways.

The singer was escorted out of the club by two men, with them holding him up as they helped walk him to a vehicle being driven by Tran. Brown appeared shaky on his feet in video captured as he exited the party.

There is talk that Brown may be again abusing alcohol after his three-month jail stint. But according to Hollywood Life, a source speaking with the site says Brown was just having a good time and isn’t drinking heavily. The source added that Tran supports her boyfriend and isn’t worried about the incident.

“Chris doesn’t have an addictive personality, and Karrueche thinks this was one of those instances where he got loose with his boys after the awards show,” the source said. “What he did was his business, and she isn’t worried in the least about him getting into trouble with alcohol.”

According to the source, Tran has removed all the alcohol from their home. “He doesn’t even have alcohol at the house. When he was in jail, Kae cleaned his house from top to bottom and gave away all the unopened alcohol bottles as gifts months ago," the source said.

The source also said that Brown is no longer smoking.

Brown was released from Los Angeles County jail on June 2 after serving time for violating his probation.
