Kasie Hunt, the MSNBC anchor who quit on air last week, has reportedly received a job offer from CNN featuring an astounding salary.

Since leaving her position at MSNBC, Hunt has reportedly been poached by CNN with a salary offer between $1 million and $1.5 million, which NBC failed to match.

While CNN wouldn’t confirm whether Hunt was heading to the network, a source previously told Variety the reporter would be featured in content for streaming viewers.

The insider revealed Hunt could appear in a variety of online content to cover pivotal moments such as presidential elections.

Similar to other major cable news networks, CNN is slowly making moves to draw in younger audiences who get their news from social media platforms.

Although NBCUniversal has its streaming service Peacock, MSNBC anchors Mika Brzezinski and Nicolle Wallace have been tapped to create content for the platform.

Hunt announced she was leaving the network on air Friday at the end of the program, “Way Too Early.”

“Got a little bit of bittersweet news for me this morning, this is going to be my final broadcast with all of you. I’ve really loved spending most of the last year with you,” she told viewers.

Hunt went on to thank viewers who supported her throughout her time hosting the show. “Most of all, thank you to all of you for getting up way too early with us this Friday morning and all the other mornings that you’ve been here as well,” she said.

Hunt’s NBC colleagues were allegedly shocked about her departure from the company and participated in an emotional conference call, sending her well wishes in her future endeavors.

Hunt began working at NBC News in 2013 and has since appeared on a variety of shows under NBCUniversal, including “KasieDC,” “Meet the Press,” and “NBC Nightly News.”
