Kate Middleton Attacked After Meghan Markle, Harry Stepped Back From Royal Duties

Kate Middleton was attacked after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to step back from their royal duties.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have gained massive followers and supporters. However, some of the turned their wrath to the Duchess of Cambridge after the royal couple announced that they are resigning from their royal roles.

One netizen shared photos of Middleton and Markle and compared their achievements. The online user stressed that Middleton is a “social climber” because she picked a school where Prince William was attending and took a gap year to coincide with the future king’s.

“Her single goal in life has been ‘to marry a Prince but it’s Meghan they wanna call a ‘social climber,’” the netizen wrote.

“Kate is doing nothing. She just shows up, wears pretty dress, smiles, and waves hand. Everytime she gets bad press, the palace takes action immediately even for small problem like her grey hair and botox issue,” another user added.

Meanwhile, another netizen defended Prince William’s’ wife. According to Maria Amelia, unlike the Duchess of Sussex, Middleton has been with the royal family longer and there has been no issues with Middleton and the members of the Firm in the past 8.5 years she’s with them.

“Whatever you say - we haven't heard any chaos in the 8.5 years Kate was married into the family. 19 months after her wedding and Meghan's controversies abound! Maybe because Kate worked whilst Meghan wanted the pomp, none of the job and her own way?" @carlotaamelia wrote.

Middleton and Markle have been compared since the latter joined the royal family. Last year, several royal followers condemned the Duchess of Cambridge for doing less than what was expected from her. Many felt that Middleton was inefficient compared to Markle who accomplished several things shortly after marrying Prince Harry.

One netizen took to Twitter and wrote that she was disappointed with Middleton because the duchess was not at the level she expected her to be eight years after joining the royal family. Another said that eight years and Middleton has nothing to show before calling Prince William’s wife “duchess do little.”

However, experts might not agree with the royal fans’ observation. According to Caitlin McBride, Middleton has turned from “waity Katie” to becoming the “most beloved royal.”
