Kate Middleton Biggest Loser After Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Exit; Miserable Birthday Understandable

Kate Middleton is the biggest loser after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from the royal family.

According to royal correspondent Daniela Elser of news.com.au, the Duchess of Cambridge is the “biggest loser” in the Sussexes’ exit. The future queen was spotted looking miserable on her birthday because the night before, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were stepping back from their royal roles. Hence, no one can blame the duchess for her gloomy appearance.

“Unfortunately for Kate, she faces having to bear the brunt of this royal world order. There is no getting away from the uncomfortable fact that no matter how unfair (or un-feminist) it is for Kate to be constantly pitched against Meghan, this situation is only going to be thrown into overdrive in the coming months and years,” Elser wrote.

Middleton and Markle were roughly on equal footing in terms of their age and being mothers. They also have the same titles and incomes. However, the Duchess of Sussex is likely to end up with a bigger fortune than the future queen since she and Prince Harry announced that they will be working to be financially stable.

Elser added that by leaving her royal post, Markle will no longer need to justify her spending and since the duchess is free from the shackles of the royal tradition and protocol, she will likely be the next global phenomenon. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now free to be the true international power players they want to be. The reporter predicted that “when this comes to pass, Meghan would eclipse Kate in every significant respect.”

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II reportedly offered Prince Harry and Markle the chance to live without royal titles so the duchess could continue her acting career. They snubbed the offer because they wanted to be working royals. However, Prince Harry and Markle ended up demanding for the opportunity they once ignored.

In related news, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles’ alleged son claimed that he is among the reasons why Prince Harry and Markle quit. Simon Charles Dorante-Day said that last December he made a submission in the high court about his claim that he is the son of the future king and queen consort. Shortly after that, the Sussexes dropped their bombshell announcement which was a “very big coincidence.”
