Kate Middleton loaned an item from the Queen's jewelry vault in their recent outing together.

On Sunday, the Duchess of Cambridge was seen with Queen Elizabeth II. They rode the same vehicle on the way to church. During the said sighting, Middleton was spotted wearing an accessory that belongs to the monarch.

According to People, the pearl drop earrings that Prince William's wife wore was one of the Queen's collection. The Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings were made from a shell containing seven pearls. It has large round diamond with a smaller circle diamond hanging below it making way to the dangling pear. It was a wedding present given by the ruler of Bahrain to Queen Elizabeth II.

This is not the first time that Middleton has borrowed an item from the Queen's jewelry vault. In fact, the Cartier Halo tiara she wore on her royal wedding in 2011 was from the Queen, too. Queen Elizabeth II is generous in lending pieces of her jewelry collection to her relatives in special occasions.

Back in November 2017, the Duchess of Cambridge was seen with Queen Elizabeth II's four-strand pearl choker with a central diamond. The piece was commissioned using a collection of cultured pearls. It was given to the Queen by the Japanese government.

Aside from Middleton, Princess Diana also borrowed it. The late Princess of Wales was seen using it at a state banquet for the Netherlands in 1982.

Middleton paired the necklace with a pair of Collingwood pearl and diamond earrings from Princess Diana's collection. She was seen wearing the same earrings during the state banquet with the Spanish royals

In November of the same year, Middleton loaned another item from the Queen's vault. The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted wearing a diamond Quatrefoil bracelet when she attended the e Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families (AFNCCF) gala.

In related news, Middleton's reportedly channeled Princess Diana in her recent sighting with the Queen. The People's Princess was photographed wearing the same shade of Middleton's wardrobe during her honeymoon with Prince Charles in Balmoral. In the photo, Princess Diana and Prince Charles were holding hands as they walked along the River Dee.
