As the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out at the Macdonald-Cartier International Airport in Ottawa, Canada, they were greeted by thousands of cheering fans.

Kate, dressed in a navy-blue lacy dress by Erdem, looked regal and elegant as she stepped forward to meet the cheering Canadians.

The navy-blue dress that the Duchess wore was from Erdem's 2012 resort collection which she complimented with her nude platform pumps and a simple clutch bag.

The royal-couple's first oversees tour, the eleven-days trip is regarded as a defining moment in their lives as working members of the Royal Family.

People arrived from far-off places and waited for hours to catch a glimpse of the newly-wed couple. The Daily Mail reported that one woman apparently drove for 21 hours from Illinois to see the Royal couple and waited from 5:30am.
