Kate Middleton used to be full of self-doubt when she first joined the royal family. But over time, she has transformed into a confident and driven woman.

A royal source likened the Duchess of Cambridge to the finest of wines because it has taken her years to mature to perfection. While speaking with Fabulous Magazine, the source said that Prince William’s wife today “has no peers on the global stage.”

The woman who was once dubbed as “Waity-Katie” is now a confident and driven woman with a purpose.

“For the first time in her life, Kate knows where she is going and has the self-belief to get there under her own steam,” the source said.

Middleton’s happier and more relaxed body language may also be due in part to her husband. While speaking with Express, body language expert Judi James said that the future Queen looks authentically happy and healthy during one of her previous engagements because of o Prince William.

The royal couple was spotted sharing rare moments of affection and humor. James said that the couple’s marriage is founded on their friendship and affection towards each other.

“Their subconscious mirroring is as intense as it was in the early days of their marriage, showing a like-minded approach and sense of purpose. Their ‘pinging’ smiles and laughter suggest they feed off one another in terms of both support and fun,” she said.

Kate Middleton and Prince William dated for 10 years before they tied the knot. And they were schoolmates and friends at the University of St. Andrews before they became a couple. According to their schoolmate, Laura Warshauer, the Duke of Cambridge became interested in the Duchess of Cambridge shortly after she helped him get out of an awkward situation.

In the book “Kate: The Future Queen,” Warshauer told royal author Katie Nicholl that Middleton pretended to be Prince William’s girlfriend after she saw that a young woman was trying to get his attention at a party.
