Kate Middleton recently gave an update on her youngest child Prince Louis.

While at her and Prince William’s tour of RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, the royal couple visited the base to meet service personnel that will be on duty on Christmas Day. Prince William and Middleton handed out presents from family members that they met at a party that they hosted on Tuesday in Kensington Palace.

During the couple’s walkabout outside the Warrant Offices and Sergeants’ Mess, Middleton spoke with 32-year-old Rhian Davis. The mom captured Middleton’s attention after the Duchess of Cambridge saw her carrying her 10-week-old daughter Dorothy on a sling.

“She asked whether she was sleeping through the night and she told me that Louis is starting to wave,” Davis told Daily Star.

Middleton gave birth to Prince Louis on April 23, which means that he less than 8 months old. But the adorable baby is slowly following in his siblings’ footsteps of learning and perfecting the royal wave.

Princess Charlotte wowed the crowds at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby when she greeted everyone with her impressive wave. She also gave the guests and royal fans a huge smile. Prince George has also done a similar thing during multiple occasions.

In related news, Middleton also shared a sweet moment Harrison Brown, an 8-year-old boy who was wearing a jacket covered in dinosaurs. The mom of three told the adorable young fan that Prince George would love his jacket.

“She said she knows someone, called George I think, she said she would like the jacket,” Brown said.

Middleton also had a hilarious encounter with Samantha Sahota, 5, who told the Duchess of Cambridge that she was not happy with the fact that the mom of three didn’t wear pink. Sahota was also upset that Middleton didn’t arrive in a carriage and that she didn’t wear a crown.

“Kate promised next time she would wear a pink dress and a crown,” Sahota’s grandma Helen said.

Following Prince William and Middleton’s back-to-back Christmas celebrations, the couple is expected to make at least another public appearance before Dec. 25.
