Kate Middleton Got Drunk, Prince William Fell Into Bush During University Days

Kate Middleton and Prince William have enjoyed wild nights out during their university days.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met at St. Andrews University in Scotland in 2001. They were good friends before their relationship turned romantic. Just like anyone their age when they were younger, Prince William and Middleton partied hard, too.

“I remember Kate having to be carried back to her room by one of the Eton boys because she couldn’t walk and she was drunk,” the couple’s former classmate Helen McCardle revealed in the 2011 documentary “When Kate Met Met William: A Tale Of Two Lives.”

In addition, she claimed that Prince William fell into a bush following a night out. The duke’s security retrieved the footage of the said incident.

“On another occasion, I remember William coming back and falling into a bush," McCardle added. “He had to be retrieved from his bodyguards who, rumour has it, went round the hall to retrieve the camera film from people who had been taking photos.”

Celebrity photographer Max Butterworth, who is popular for his “naughtiest” portfolio of worse for wear celebrities, also captured the couple including Prince Harry’s wild night out.

Butterworth captured a photo of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge bleary-eyed after leaving a nightclub in London’s Mayfair at around 2 or 3 a.m. way back in 2007. According to him, when he photographed Middleton, the duchess was telling the taxi where to go. On the other hand, Prince William and Prince Harry got into their royal transport shortly after.

In the photo, Prince Harry was captured leaving Boujis nightclub in Kensington. In the snap, he looked more composed compared to his brother.

The three royals have changed a lot after over a decade. Prince William and Middleton are already married and are parents to three children: 5-year-old Prince George, 3-year-old Princess Charlotte and 7-month-old Prince Louis.

On the other hand, Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in May. The couple is expecting their first baby in the Spring of 2019.

There are rumors that Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle are having a rift. However, the fab four are still expected to spend the holidays together with Queen Elizabeth II in Sandringham.
