Kate Middleton Has 'Gone Out Of Her Way' To Help Meghan Markle
Kate Middleton has gone out of her way to help her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.
The Duchess of Cambridge made an effort to help the Duchess of Sussex adjust to her new life in London. Middleton reportedly did all she can to make Prince Harry's wife feel at home at Kensington Palace.
According to Katie Nicholl, a royal biographer, Middleton and Markle have been building their friendship in the past months. Middleton also guides Markle by showing the royal ropes and introducing the former "Suits" actress to her favorite designers like Emilia Wickstead. The royal mom of three has "gone the extra mile" to help Prince Harry's wife.
"It's a friendship that is still slowly blossoming," a source said. "Kate has gone out of her way to be friendly to Meghan, and Meghan has been very grateful for that."
"Harry and Kate are very close, she's been like a mentor to him and he wanted her seal of approval," the insider added. "Kate is different to Meghan in many ways, but she has made great strides to help Meghan settle in."
Middleton and Markle made their solo outing together at Wimbledon. According to a photographer, from the look of it, there was no rivalry between the two duchesses. In fact, the new royal let Middleton lead the way.
"She very much let Kate take the lead," veteran royal photographer Mark Stewart told People. "There was no rivalry. It shows how well Meghan has adapted as she is aware that Kate will be Queen one day and her position is different."
Initially, there were rumors that the two were not getting along well. An insider claimed that "Kate is not especially warm and doesn't like being around people she doesn't know." However, Gossip Cop debunked the speculations. The publication noted that Middleton and Markle have praised each other in the past and whenever they are together they appear to be enjoying each other's company.
In related news, due to Markle and Middleton's growing friendship one Twitter user created gay wedding photos featuring the two, which went viral. However, some netizens were not impressed with it.
"Yeah, no you still don't have the right to use pictures of real people for [expletive] like this," Mr.Gamer said about Middleton and Markle's viral photoshopped wedding photos.
