Kate Middleton Heartbreak: Beatrice, Eugenie Are Reportedly 'Bitter' Towards Prince William's Wife

It cannot be denied that Kate Middleton is, now, considered as one of the most significant members of the royal family. From being an ordinary college girl, her life has, undeniably, changed a lot since she and Prince William started dating in 2003. Many royal followers admire Kate for her hard work, aside from her simple-yet-fabulous fashion statements. However, reports have it that her popularity has caused some rifts within the royal family.

New Idea Magazine, in its May 4, 2020 issue, claimed that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are “furious” that Kate has been getting so much attention again lately. The wife of Prince William has been receiving praises for her dedication and commitment to fulfilling her duties as a senior royal amid the COVID-19 pandemic. However, no concrete pieces of evidence can prove that these claims are accurate as of press time.

Sources told the entertainment news publication that Beatrice and Eugenie are not pleased with all the special treatments that Kate has been getting since she became part of the royal family. The York sisters are said to be getting more bitter towards the Duchess of Cambridge by the day.

“They hate that she is the popular one and that she can do no wrong in the Queen’s eyes and that she’s loved by the UK people. They think she’s not a proper princess like they are. She married into the royal family – whereas Bea and Eugenie were born into it and they believe should have more rights and be more respected than Kate,” an unnamed palace insider told the magazine.

Kate Middleton, for her part, allegedly, feels “very much ignored” by Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. The mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis is, reportedly, “upset” that she does not have a good relationship with her husband’s cousins.

Neither Kate nor the York sisters have commented on these feud rumors. However, with New Idea’s reputation for publishing stories based on the statements of its unidentified and phony informants, this could be another baseless rumor waiting to be quashed. So, these reports should be taken lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton and Prince William greeted Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor during his first birthday, Wednesday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a photo of their nephew from his christening on Twitter. "Wishing Archie a very happy first birthday today!" the post read.
