Kate Middleton Looks Cool In Green Alice Temperley Dress, Wears Maxi Dress By Budget Label Glamorous For Charity Visit
Kate Middleton looked cool in the New Delhi heat in a jade green lace Alice Temperley dress as she and her husband Prince William met the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi on Monday, Day 3 on their visit to India and Bhutan. The British royal couple had a lunch time meeting with the Indian premier before jetting off to Assam. The Duchess of Cambridge managed to stay cool in the blue dress.
The 34-year-old royal’s Desdemona Lace Dress featured long sleeves, high mock neck, fitted waist and a fluted midi hem – a silhouette favored by the Duchess. The stylish royal opted for a pair of nude high heels, accessorized with diamond drop earrings, her engagement ring and carried a LK Bennett Natalie straw clutch bag.
She showed off the season's major beauty trend — her long brunette tresses styled into a low chignon in a braided and plaited do. For her make-up, Kate kept it simple in her signature smoky eyes and nude lipstick. Her 33-year-old husband William, meanwhile, looked dapper in a dark blue suit.
The father-of-two paired his outfit with a crisp white shirt, brown tie and black lace-up shoes. The pair was greeted by Modi while the flags of both the countries fluttered behind them. The three posed for photographers in front of Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
Earlier in the day, the Duchess looked stunning in a red maxi dress by budget label Glamorous. The dress was previously thought to be by Indian designer Anita Dongre. She and William met a group of young people in New Delhi from the charity Saalam Baalak. The non-profit provides care and protection to street and working children in New Delhi and surrounding areas.
Kate’s dress featured small floral prints, long sleeves, high neck with a string detailing, navy trim and a flowing long skirt. It was also cinched at the waist with a navy belt. She accessorized with long white and gold earrings and a pair of blush suede flats from XPresso by British high-street brand Russell & Bromley. Her brunette tresses were kept in a side part and twisted.
Kate finished off her look with pink blush, matching lipstick and smoky eyes. William was also dressed in less formal attire in khaki trousers and a blue shirt.
