Kate Middleton loves green outfits for a reason.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s wardrobe is filled with green outfits. Prince William’s wife has been spotted wearing various shades of green dresses over the years and a color expert believes that there’s a reason why the future queen prefers this shade.

“Kate has medium-dark eyes that are on the softer side in terms of intensity, and dependent on the lighting they appear to be slightly different shades of green,” color specialist Gabriella Winters told Hello! Magazine.

“She wears her eye colours often and very successfully. Wearing colours that are innate to your colouring will make you appear graceful, fresh and elevated - Kate wearing her eye colours make her look effortlessly elegant, glowing and refined.”

One of Middleton’s most popular green outfits is her L.K. Bennett polka dot dress which she wore when she visited Evelina Children’s Hospital in December 2018. Also, her elegant Beulah dress that she wore during an event in Buckingham Palace in 2019 is another fan-favorite.

“A person wearing green will exert an impression of composure, rationality and stability. More specifically, Kate's pine greens evoke a sense of aspiration, sophistication and prosperity, while her olive shades induce feelings of wisdom, self-love and feminine leadership qualities,” the expert continued.

Winters also believes that the duchess is drawn to the color because it is the “accepted color of nature” and the future queen loves the outdoors and nature. Winters explained that green is associated with “freshness, restoration, and environmental awareness.”

On the other hand, Middleton is never seen wearing orange. She has been spotted out and about rocking red outfits and red orange wardrobes but never orange.

Daisy Schubert, a style expert, said that Middleton is a “winter color type” and she would look dreadful in orange, that’s why she avoids it.

“Having a cool, blue undertone means that the orange colour pigments would clash with her natural features. You’d only see the dress, not her!” the expert explained.

In related news, Meghan Markle’s fashion influence has dropped from 216% from 2017 to 2019 to only 31% in 2020 after she left the royal family. On the other hand, Middleton’s influence soared from 119% to 159%.
