Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle Didn’t Arrive In Same Car At Wimbledon

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle did not arrive at Wimbledon in the same car.

On Saturday, the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex reunited to watch the Ladies’ Singles Final at Wimbledon. Royal fans were pleased to see Pippa Middleton joining the two duchesses.

In a clip shared on Instagram, it turned out that Middleton and Markle didn’t arrive on the same vehicle. Prince William’s wife arrived in a vehicle with her sister. Many even noticed how Middleton glanced back at her sister before she proceeded with her royal duties. They praised Middleton for being a sweet sister to Pippa.

However, many were wondering where Markle was as the Prince Harry’s wife was expected to join her at the event. But she was not on the same vehicle.

“Wasn't Meghan suppose to go with her??” one fan commented.

“Lol don't worry just saw she arrived,” another netizen responded.

Although Middleton and Markle didn’t arrive on the same vehicle, they entered the Royal Box together along with Pippa. It seemed that the trio had a great time together as they were photographed giggling during the match.

This is the second time Middleton and Markle watched Wimbledon together. They were first seen together at the tournament last year. It was their first solo outing as their husbands Prince William and Prince Harry weren’t with them. According to veteran royal photographer Mark Stewart, there was no competition between the two duchesses because Markle let Middleton took the lead.

“There was no rivalry. It shows how well Meghan has adapted as she is aware that Kate will be Queen one day and her position is different,” Stewart said.

Prior to Markle and Middleton’s appearance at Wimbledon, Kensington Palace announced that they will be attending the event together. However, days before the finals, Middleton and Markle made separate appearances at the tournament which garnered different feedback from the public.

Middleton was praised for making a fabulous move by supporting a British player and joining everyone in court 14 instead of sitting at the Royal Box. On the other hand, Markle was criticized after her security staff told the people sitting near her to avoid taking photos of her.
