Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle love wearing nude stilettos for a number of unique reasons.

Donny Galella, a celebrity stylist, told Daily Mail that women gravitate towards wearing this type of footwear because it helps elongate their legs and make them look taller and thinner.

“They are classic and timeless that pretty much go with everything in your wardrobe. That’s the reason why so many celebrities and royal women repeat them in their wardrobes,” she said.

Middleton has worn her go-to pair of LK Bennett stilettos in multiple occasions. Markle, on the other hand, has opted to wear the Manolo Blahnik brand countless times. According to Galella, the trick with finding the right pair of nude stilettos is to be considerate of one’s skin color.

“The trick to finding a good pair is finding one that matches your skin tone perfectly. There are so many different shades of nude, and no one size fits all. Always try them on and ensure they match your leg color perfectly. This will help to make your legs look longer. And to look even taller, go for a nude shoe with a platform,” she said.

Galella also named some shoemakers that sell affordable nude stilettos.

“Novo, Betts, and brands like Verali and Billini have well affordable styles,” he said.

A pair of Novo stilettos is priced at $59.95, while a pair from Betts costs $62.99.

In related news, nude stilettos are not the only thing that Middleton and Markle have in common. The two royals also have a female bodyguard among their staff.

During her recent trip to Fiji, an unnamed female bodyguard was photographed walking in front of Markle following a security scare in the market. It has been revealed that the palace staff has been working for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for several months now.
