Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle may have many differences, including their taste in fashion and approach to royal motherhood, but they share the same love for one bag designer.

Markle and Middleton have been spotted carrying clutches from Wilbur & Gussie, though in different colors, at several events, PageSix pointed out. During last month's Addiction Awareness Week gala dinner, the Duchess of Cambridge paired her outfit with a Wilbur & Gussie gray silk clutch bag, which is also known as the brand's signature "Charlie" clutch. Prince William's wife also has a gold version of the same item which she has been spotted with on several occasions.

As for Markle, she apparently prefers Wilbur & Gussie's oyster silk "Charlie" clutch. She was spotted carrying the bag when she attended a memorial service for Stephen Lawrence at St Martin-in-the-Fields church in Trafalgar Square last April 2018 with Prince Harry and when she reunited with the royal family at Buckingham Palace in March to celebrate the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Investiture of The Prince of Wales.

According to Express, the clutch retails at £205 ($253) and could be customized with brooches.

But Middleton and Markle aren't the only members of the royal family who seem to adore this brand. Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter Princess Beatrice has been photographed with a purple silk clutch, while the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, Pippa Middleton, owns a leopard-skin variety.

Meanwhile, though Prince William and Prince Harry's wives have been rumored to be feuding for months, a source recently told Hello Magazine that the two duchesses are actually close friends. According to the insider, Middleton has been supporting the first-time mom, who gave birth to son Archie in May.

“Kate was a great source of support to Meghan in the days leading up to Archie’s birth,” the insider said (via the Daily Mail). “Despite reports of a rift, they are family and have a really lovely friendship. Their relationship has certainly evolved over time and they have become closer since Meghan’s wedding.”
