One netizen took to Quora to ask if the Duchess of Cambridge is not as charismatic as her late mother-in-law Princess Diana and brother-in-law Prince Harry. The question received various reactions from the royal fans.

Middleton is one of the most popular members of the royal family. However, many felt that she’s not as engaged as Princess Diana and Prince Harry when it comes to the media, that’s why she appears to be less charismatic than the two.

According to Lacey Sheridan, aretired school administrator, Middleton doesn’t envy Princess Diana and she dislikes the spotlight and only tolerates it because of her husband’s position. Prince William is the future king and will reign after Prince Charles.

“Diana was from a different time and social class. Kate seems like a nice, middle class girl who happened to marry a Prince; she wasn’t raised with any sense of noblesse oblige. Whether she has charisma or not, she evidently wants as normal a life with her husband and children as possible,” Sheridan added.

Meanwhile, James O’Malley agreed that Middleton is distant to the press compared to Princess Diana. According to him, the Duchess of Cambridge keeps the press at a safe distance and she never gives interviews on her own. Also, she has a “very aloof character” unlike Princess Diana who was more open and was perceived as “warm and caring.”

“She’s just not touchie feelie like Diana, Harry and Meghan are!” Karl Lewanski added.

In related news, Middleton was reportedly upset with her and Prince William’s split from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. She reportedly couldn’t believe that it happened and that things ended so badly between the four of them. The duchess deemed their public split her worst nightmare that came true.

Prior to Markle’s arrival, Prince Harry was very close to Prince William and Middleton. They attended numerous royal engagements together that many called them “the royal trio.” In one photo, Prince Harry and Middleton were seen laughing with their eyes closed and mouth wide open.

However, royal fans didn’t see Prince Harry and Middleton in that way again. Some netizens blamed Markle and accused her of messing up the Duke of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge’s friendship.
