Kate Middleton Not Living Her Dream Life, House Because Of Prince William

Kate Middleton couldn’t live the life she wanted due to her husband, Prince William.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been married for 7 years already. They were gifted by Queen Elizabeth II a home in Anmer near Her Majesty’s Sandringham House.

According to journalists Angela Mollard and Rebecca Hyde on New Idea’s podcast “Royals,” Middleton loves the time they spend in the countryside. In fact, if she could have her way, she would like to settle in their home in Norfolk.

“She keeps wanting them to go up to Anmer Hall in Norfolk,” Mollard said. “I think if she had her dream come true they would all live up there and they wouldn’t actually have to be in London.”

“But of course, there are William’s duties and their increasing role within the Royal Family, and that’s not possible,” she added.

Although it’s impossible for Middleton to live the life she wanted in Norfolk, the family spends as much time as possible there. The Cambridges spent their holidays there when they joined Queen Elizabeth II in Sandringham last Christmas.

Middleton’s wish to live in the countryside is understandable. The place is peaceful and a great getaway from London.

Anmer Hall is a private property and there’s only limited detail about the house. However, based on the snaps that the palace released for Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s first official photos, one of the rooms where the photo was taken was painted in a cream shade.

Another snap featured Princess Charlotte sitting in a customized gray chair. The blurred background suggests that the couch inside Anmer Hall is in matching cream shade as well.

Prince William and Middleton have an increasing role within the royal family and this is keeping them from living full-time in Norfolk. Both are already preparing for their future roles.

Middleton is reportedly already preparing to become Queen. The Duchess of Cambridge will be taking over the role after Camilla Parker Bowles.

On the other hand, Prince William has been attending secret meetings to take over Prince Charles’ role as the Duke of Cornwall. Prince William is expected to run the Duchy of Cornwall when the Prince of Wales becomes King.
