Kate Middleton admitted that they are doing a lot of FaceTime amid the coronavirus lockdown.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are quarantining with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in their home in Norfolk. On Thursday (May 7), she made an appearance on ITV’s “This Morning” and gave fans a glimpse of how they spend their time during the lockdown.
“It's really hard. We hadn't done a huge amount of FaceTime and face calls, and things like that, but obviously, we're doing that a lot more now, and actually it's been really great,” Middleton said.
The royal mom of three added that they check in daily with their family members and speak with them about the news and other stuff. For her, the pandemic has given them more time to talk to their loved ones than before the quarantine period.
Middleton still finds the situation difficult, especially when it comes to explaining the outbreak to kids around 5 or 6 years old. Prince William and Middleton’s eldest child Prince George is 6 and Princess Charlotte is 5. On April 23, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest son, Prince Louis, turned 2 years old.
During her guest appearance, Middleton also introduced her new photography project called “Hold Still.” She will be launching it alongside her patronage, the National Portrait Gallery.
Middleton is a self-proclaimed amateur photographer. For Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte’s birthdays, she released new snaps of the little royals that she personally took.
Royal photographer Samir Hussein praised Middleton skills. He was impressed, especially with Prince Louis’ recent photos.
“I really liked the recent pictures of Prince Louis,” he said.
“You can see from the pictures she takes that she’s better, certainly better than your average person on the streets. She’s got a good eye, and she’s a good photographer. I’m impressed by her pictures, absolutely,” he added.
In related news, Middleton previously shared that she was kind of being mean to her kids in the past weeks. The duchess revealed that she continued homeschooling them even during the Easter break.
“We didn't tell the children we've actually kept going through the holidays,” she said before adding, “I feel very mean.”
