Is Kate Middleton Pregnant? All The Reports Duchess Is Expecting Fourth Child

Baby fever is not running rampantly throughout the royal family, despite what some royal watchers may be hoping. While Meghan Markle is, in fact, pregnant and expecting her first child with Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Prince William are not likely expecting their fourth child together any time soon.

Several reports have been surfacing trying to claim that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might be planning on having their fourth child together. However, there have also been reports which have refuted the claims.

The first reports actually surfaced a few weeks prior to the announcement that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were welcoming their first child, with OK! (via New Idea) claiming that Middleton was already a few months along with her fourth child and that she was happy because she always wanted to have four children.

“Kate’s always said she wanted four children, and now it looks like she’s getting her wish,’ a reported insider said. “William and Kate are very surprised, but also very happy. They feel like their family is complete.”

That same report also indicated that the Duchess was due in February 2019. While it was never expressly refuted, it’s clear by recent photos of her at events that she is not going to be giving birth to another child in the next few months, as she would already be showing. Her baby bump was visible already during last year’s Christmas celebrations, and she didn’t give birth to Prince Louis until April 23.

Not long after, Star Magazine also reported that the Duchess was expecting a fourth child, and claimed there was a major concern over the pregnancy due to some weight loss. That report, which also claimed that Middleton and Prince William didn’t want to announce their news yet so as not to overshadow Harry and Meghan, was refuted by Gossip Cop.

That still hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from churning out stories about an alleged pregnancy just yet though. While there aren’t any explicit reports that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting at the moment, there are reports that she could overshadow the news of Markle’s pregnancy since oddsmakers have once again slashed the odds of a fourth pregnancy for the royal couple to 7/2.

Other reports have slashed those odds further, to just 2-1.

While it’s not impossible that Middleton would have a fourth child at some point, fans shouldn’t expect to hear news of such a pregnancy anytime soon.
