News they took a doctor with them on their tour of Pakistan reignited rumors they were expecting a fourth child, and now, bookies have reportedly continued slashing the odds that it’s possible when it comes to Kate Middleton and Prince William—and the prospect of the couple having twins is a favorite for those placing bets.

According to Heart.UK, the couple’s royal tour in Pakistan has served as a catalyst for a new round of bets, specifically because, for the first time, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a doctor on tour with them, who was identified as a friend of Prince William’s from his time with the East Anglia Air Ambulance.

However, while a logical reason was given for the couple’s reasoning, it did lead to many speculating that the doctor was in attendance because the Duchess is once again pregnant—and odds have slashed on her not only having one child but potentially twins as well, in 2020.

Current odds on the pair having a fourth child overall have been slashed from ½ to 1/5, and the odds she has twins are now at 4/1, according to the website.

Bookmakers.tv also reported that the reason for the slashed odds is tied directly to the fact that a doctor was present during the couple’s tour.

“Normally it’s only the Queen and the Prince of Wales who take a full-time medic with them while travelling,” a spokesman said. “So for the young and healthy Duke and Duchess to take one has whipped royal fans into a frenzy that she is pregnant once again—causing the odds to be slashed.”

Of course, Middleton isn’t the only member of the royal family who bookies have been taking odds on when it comes to a potential pregnancy. Following news of her engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, bookies quickly began to also place bets on when Princess Beatrice, who will walk down the aisle in 2020, would also announce a pregnancy of her own.

Those odds currently stand at 2/1 for a 2020 announcement, 6/4 for 2021 and 4/1 for 2022 or later.
