Kate Middleton is just like Princess Diana as a mother.

The Duchess of Cambridge is a hands-on mom when it comes to her three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. She was seen dropping off or fetching her children from school. She has also been seen playing with them and looking after them when they are out in public watching Prince William’s polo matches.

A throwback photo shared on Instagram featured Middleton carrying baby Charlotte in her arms while she placed her other hand on Prince George’s head. The photo is strikingly similar to Princess Diana, Prince Harry and Prince William’s snap.

Another photo placed beside Middleton and her kids’ picture features Princess Diana carrying Prince Harry. Prince William is standing in front of his mom and is positioned similar to Prince George.

According to Susan Constantine, Middleton and Princess Diana are both “incredibly hands-on” when it comes to their kids. Both moms also bend down when they talk to their children to establish a connection.

However, between the two, Middleton is more relaxed. Middleton is the type who just lets her child falls and picks them up. On the other hand, Princess Diana tried everything in her power to prevent her children from falling in the first place.

Princess Diana was very popular for her fashion sense. When Prince William and Prince Harry were still little kids, the Princess of Wales let them use girl shoes. The Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex were both photographed wearing Mary Jane shoes that are famous for being little girls’ footwear. However, in the 18th-century young royals used them, too.

Princess Charlotte was once photographed using a pair of red shoes. Middleton paired the footwear with a floral dress that looked perfect on her daughter.

Prince Harry was also photographed wearing similar shoes. According to Kate Taylor, the one Princess Charlotte wore was a hand-me-down and was actually the same pair Prince Harry wore when he was a kid.

“Even though we think of Mary Jane-style shoes like these as being exclusively for little girls, Prince Harry looks about as masculine as a little boy can be in his little shoes!” Taylor wrote.
