Kate Middleton, Prince William Attend Friend's Wedding With Kids; Prince Louis Missing
Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out together with their kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
On Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended Sophie Carter and Robert Snuggs' wedding at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Norfolk. Carter is one of Middleton's closest friends, People reported.
Prince William and Middleton's kids, 5-year-old Prince George and 3-year-old Princess Charlotte, were there as well. Princess Charlotte was among the three bridesmaids, while Prince George was among the four pageboys.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a striking blue dress for the nuptials. Meanwhile, Prince William looked dapper in a traditional tailcoat and vest. Charlotte donned a linen dress in ivory with royal blue embroidered edging. On the other hand, Prince George wore an outfit from one of Middleton's favorite children's wear designers, Amaia. The future king looked adorable in matching cropped blue trousers and off-white linen shirt with a blue cummerbund.
During the event, the third-in-line to the throne was seen dashing around the churchyard. Middleton was seen picking Princess Charlotte as they posed for pictures with the bride's family.
"George is a real star, quite the little chap," a source told People. "He was having a great time, running around like the leader of the pack."
Middleton's parents Carole and Michael and brother James were also in attendance. Pregnant Pippa and 5-month-old Prince Louis were noticeably missing. Prince Louis could be at home resting.
Although he's not seen in public often, he reportedly joined Prince William, Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and their grandparents Carole and Michael on their Mustique vacation last summer. But, there were no photos of him.
In related news, Middleton would not be joining Prince William's upcoming trip to Africa. The Duke of Cambridge is set to visit the country as President of United for Wildlife and Tusk Trust. The couple is inclined to doing their personal charities on their own.
"Typically William has always worked solo in his fight against illegal wildlife trade, which is why we wouldn't see Kate join him on a trip like this or him joining Kate on her own personal projects, such as promoting the importance of perinatal, maternal and children's mental health," Christina Reeves explained. "William's visit to Africa is in the same vein as his 2016 solo trip to Vietnam, where his goal was to urge people to stop buying rhino horn and elephant ivory."
