Kate Middleton, Prince William Caught Teasing Each Other After Duchess Beat Duke

Kate Middleton and Prince William were caught teasing each other.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge aren’t as tactile as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Unlike Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who aren’t shy on packing on some PDA, Prince William and Middleton are more reserved. However, there are rare moments when the couple couldn’t hide their sweetness toward each other.

In 2014, the couple spent the day with team New Zealand and joined a yacht race on the Waitemata Harbour in Auckland. Prince William and Middleton were in different teams and the Duchess of Cambridge’s team won the race.

After the competition, Prince William and Middleton met. Even before they got close, the two were already smiling as shown in the clip shared on Instagram.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Middleton told Prince William while teasing him about his loss.

Prince William congratulated his wife saying, “Well done, well done.”

Middleton tapped her husband’s shoulder and gave him an advice, “I bit more hard work.” Prince William didn’t back off and said that it was “sabotage.”

Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge competed against each other again at the King’s Cup Regatta. Prince William’s team came third while Middleton’s team ranked last after being disqualified from the second race.

Prince William made fun of his wife when she was handed the giant wooden spoon as the loser of the competition. The Duke of Cambridge shared a snap on Instagram of his wife with her hands on her face as he smiles and claps while looking at her.

“It’s the taking part that counts,” he wrote in the caption with a spoon emoticon.

In related news, Prince William and Middleton have already made Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s split official by removing their names from their charity. However, royal expert Phil Dampier felt that their split was a “massive mistake” because it appeared as if they are pitting against each other personally and professionally.

Many criticized the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for taking a commercial flight amid Prince Harry and Markle’s jet-gate scandal. However, several netizens defended the Cambridges. According to them, Prince William and Middleton have been flying in budget airlines even in the previous year and they didn’t do it to just throw shade at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who were slammed for taking four private flights in 11 days.
