Kate Middleton and Prince William hint that they still have communication with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are quarantining in Norfolk with their three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Prince William and Middleton revealed in an interview with BBC that they are in constant communication with the other members of the family amid the coronavirus lockdown. In fact, they are talking to everyone, including Prince Harry and Markle.
“We have been talking to all of the family online. It has been a really great way of keeping in touch,” Prince William said.
“Your father and my parents and our families have really loved keeping in touch with the children,” Middleton added. “It's really hard times particularly over family times like Easter and things like that, and not seeing each other. So we are making sure we share in on birthday calls and make sure we keep in touch with each other.”
Middleton also joked that calling the other family members is a bit struggle because Prince Louis would always try to take the phone away. Prince William added that he sees the red button (end call) and wants to press it.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son Archie will be celebrating his first birthday on May 6. Prince William and Middleton might call them to celebrate the occasion.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Middleton’s youngest son Prince Louis is also turning 2 years old on April 23. According to reports, Middleton canceled the birthday party for the toddler. Instead, they will celebrate it with the immediate members of the family.
“If the weather is nice, William’s planning to cook some chicken and burgers on BBQ and play outdoor sports and games as a family – football, chase and hide and seek,” and insider said. “And obviously Louis will have a cake, too! He’s so excited about his big day and is already singing happy birthday to himself.”
On the other hand, Prince Harry and Markle will be celebrating their son’s birthday in their secluded home in Los Angeles. Another source said that the duchess will prepare animal-themed cupcakes because Archie loves animals.
Meanwhile, in February, another source said that Prince Harry and Prince William are on speaking terms after the Megxit. The insider added that Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s sons are “on better footing.”
