Kate Middleton, Prince William ‘Hurt’ As Prince Charles Sides With Meghan Markle

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly hurt because Prince Charles has sided with Meghan Markle amid their alleged rift.

For months there have been rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are feuding with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Prince Harry and Markle’s decision to move out of Kensington Palace and have a separate charity only fueled their rumored beef.

Also, the fab four has not been seen together for months. Prince William and Middleton attended Archie’s christening in July. The four royals only made another public reunion on Remembrance Day.

According to an insider, Prince William and Middleton are hurt because Prince Charles took Markle’s side. The Prince of Wales reportedly took Markle under his wing and their closeness was rubbing Prince William the wrong way. So the duke told his father to stop playing favorites.

“William and Kate are both hurt,” an insider told Life & Style.

“Charles speaks to Meghan most weeks to see how she’s doing, he rarely picks up the phone to call Kate. He’ll invite the Sussexes over without telling or asking William and Kate and days later, he’ll let it slip in conversation, leaving William fuming.”

The source added that before Markle joined the royal family, Middleton was close to her father-in-law. Prince Charles and Markle share the same “dry sense of humor,” leaving Middleton feeling left out.

However, according to Lauren Turner, a journalist for Pop Sugar, Middleton and Prince Charles’ relationship is complicated. It was reportedly the Prince of Wales who urged Prince William to either break off their relationship or propose to Middleton.

In addition, Prince Charles felt that Middleton’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton are the favored godparents. It even came to a point that Prince Charles reportedly snubbed Carole by telling the royal aides to ignore Middleton’s mom and it angered Prince William.

In related news, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles are reportedly worried about Prince Harry. They noticed that the duke is miserable, tense, sulky and even emasculated. Markle has encouraged Prince Harry to adopt to the changes in his life and it made him “no longer feel quite himself,” royal expert Angela Levin said.
