Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the Royal Variety Performance this week.

While speaking with Express, body language expert Judi James said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked like a true royal power couple during their outing.

The parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis both dressed up for the formal event. And James said that it seemed as though they were out on a date with each other.

“For a long-term married couple their connection signals [in the pictures] make them appear even more openly romantic together than usual,” James said.

Prince William also acted like a true gentleman during their outing. He gently steered Middleton to walk ahead of him with a sense of pride and admiration. The second in line to the throne’s tactile behavior includes a back-touch with a splayed hand.

James also said that Prince William and Middleton’s facial expressions mirrored each other.

“It’s their facial expressions as well as their mirroring and their intense and mutual attention rituals with one another that suggest they are also presenting as romantic royals as well though. Kate’s excited eye expression and her wide, dimpled smile suggest genuine, congruent pleasure at being in her husband’s company, while his beaming and at times slightly shy smile plus his softened features do suggest he’s very happily in love,” James said.

The body language expert went on to say that seeing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge smiling makes other people smile as well. However, the same cannot be said about the other members of the British clan.

Last week, Prince Andrew gave an unprecedented interview about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, and he was criticized for it. Last month, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also gave interviews about their struggles within the royal family.

While speaking with Tom Bradby, Markle said that she had only been existing and not living throughout the past couple of months.
