Kate Middleton and Prince William shared how they bond with their three children while in lockdown in Norfolk.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have remained busy even if they are in quarantine by taking video calls supporting their charities. In one call, they shared how they bond with their three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
According to Middleton, she doesn’t want to scare her kids about the coronavirus pandemic. To keep them entertained while at home, she keeps them busy with a “pretty strict routine.”
The Cambridges have Norland College-trained supernanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo who helps Middleton with the kids.
“Although you don't want to scare them and make it too overwhelming, I think it's appropriate to acknowledge things in simple ways and in age-appropriate ways,” she said.
The duchess also admitted that she felt mean toward her kids because she continued homeschooling them even during Easter break.
“We didn't tell the children we've actually kept going through the holidays,” Middleton said in an interview with the BBC.
“I feel very mean,” she added.
However, she also makes sure that they won’t miss the fun while at home.
“You get to the end of the day and you write down the list of all the things you've done in that day: you pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day – they've had a lovely time – but it is amazing how much you can cram into one day,” Middleton said.
Meanwhile, Prince William said he joins the kids for their “odd” walks and bike rides. These outdoor activities keep them active and healthy.
“We've been for the odd walk, odd bike ride as well, keeping the children busy and active and healthy. We haven't quite done the Joe Wicks workout that everyone else seems to be doing, but we aren't far off that probably. That might happen at some point,” the duke explained.
In related news, Princess Diana’s former aide Paul Burrell said that Prince Willilam and Middleton will have another child after Prince Louis. According to him, the couple wants four kids. Also, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also likely to welcome a new child.
“There will be four babies for Kate and William,” Burrell said. “It wouldn’t surprise me if Kate and Meghan were pregnant at the same time next year.”
