Kate Middleton and Prince William's family photo for their 2020 Christmas Card is adorable, according to the netizens.

A never-before-seen family photo featuring the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge leaked a few days ago sparking rumors that it was for their annual Christmas card. Prince William and Middleton confirmed it by sharing the same family photo on Twitter, announcing that it was indeed for their Christmas card this year.

"The Duke and Duchess are delighted to share a new image of their family, which features on their Christmas card this year," the caption read.

The picture showed the future king and queen sitting outdoors with their three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis grinning. Those who saw the picture instantly fell in love with it. They praised the duchess' look as well as the other members of the Cambridge family in the photo especially Prince Louis' open-mouth expression.

"I can’t get over how breathtakingly gorgeous the Duchess always looks. It’s like she was born for this," one commented.

"This is so sweet Louis between this and 'what amimal do you like' you are stealing my heart!" another wrote.

"My 9 year old thinks that was cutest thing ever. He still talks about it and tries to say amimal like Prince Louis. We are from Arizona but he adores The Cambridge's and everything they do. They truly are an inspiration and loving family," a third netizen added.

Meanwhile, some also noticed that Princess Charlotte is looking similar to his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II as she ages.

"Charlotte looks more and more like the Queen the older she gets," one wrote.

"I was thinking the exact same thing," another user agreed.

"Exactly what I thought as soon as I looked at this," a different user commented.

Several have already said that Princess Charlotte and Queen Elizabeth II look really similar. In fact, due to their similar looks, some facial recognition system might fail to distinguish the two when their photos are put for comparison, according to an expert.

"They are indeed strikingly similar," Hassan Ugail, Professor of Visual Computing at the University of Bradford told Express. "Usually, if a comparison between two images return 70 percent or higher we consider it to be the same person."
