Kate Middleton ‘Really Wants’ Fourth Baby With Prince William, Royal Expert Claims

Kate Middleton and Prince William are likely to have another baby after Prince Louis.

Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they are expecting their first baby, royal fans have been clamoring for another baby announcement from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. According to experts, Prince William and Middleton may welcome another baby because the latter is fond of kids.

“But she really, really wants that fourth child. She’s a devoted [mom], it’s her greatest and most fulfilling role in life,” Angela Mollard said on New Idea’s “Royals“ podcast.

Mollard added that Middleton loves Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s relationship and wants Prince Louis to have the same relationship with another sibling. Insiders claim that the duchess wants to give Princess Charlotte a sister, too.

Some sources doubt that Middleton would want another baby considering the ordeal she went through in her first three pregnancies. The Duchess of Cambridge suffered severe morning sickness and had to take a leave from her royal duties because she was advised to have strict bed rest.

However, according to Mollard, Middleton’s morning sickness when she was expecting Prince Louis wasn’t as bad compared to the times she was pregnant with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Aside from the improved condition on her last pregnancy, Mollard said that having four children just like Queen Elizabeth II speaks about one’s status.

“In aristocratic circles in Britain it’s a little bit of a status thing, being able to have four children and being able to afford it,” she explained.

The betting odds support this theory. Back in December, Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Apati said that it was “increasingly likely” that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would have another baby in the near future. At the time, the odds of Prince William and Middleton having a new member in 2019 was slashed from 7/2 to 3/1.

However, Apati’s prediction changed recently. According to him, it’s increasingly likely that the next royal to give birth after Meghan Markle would be Princess Eugenie.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have been married for over three months and the odds suggest that the couple will make a baby announcement this year.
