Kate Middleton Recycled Prince George’s Cardigan, Passed It Down To Princess Charlotte
Kate Middleton reportedly recycled one of Prince George’s cardigans and she decided to pass it on to her only daughter Princess Charlotte.
Princess Charlotte was photographed in a navy-blue cardigan for the Cambridge’s royal family Christmas photo. Months later, it was revealed that the cardigan was previously owned by her older brother.
On the online forum site Quora, one royal fan praised Middleton for deciding to recycle her son’s clothes instead of throwing them away.
“It’s lovely to see Prince George and Princess Charlotte wear the same cardigan. Just because they are royals they can’t share clothes?” she asked.
Oldfield claimed that some critics are making a big deal out of the Duchess of Cambridge’s decision to dress Princess Charlotte in her older brother’s hand-me-downs.
However, this shouldn’t be turned into an issue because Princess Charlotte also wore Prince Harry’s old red shoes. In 1986, the Duke of Sussex was photographed in his red baby doll shoes during a royal tour with his older brother and parents.
Several years later, it appeared as though Princess Charlotte wore the exact same shoes while she was on a tour with Prince William and Middleton in Poland.
“Recycling is good. I don’t know how anybody could claim it isn’t… The Cambridges are very understated and that’s positive in my opinion,” the royal fan wrote.
In related news, Prince George also made headlines this week after rumors swirled that the young boy has already met President Donald Trump. However, a meeting between the young royal and the president of the United States has not yet taken place.
Prince George had the opportunity to meet former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama when they visited the palace on an official trip years ago. The third in line to the throne was also photographed shaking hands with the former president.
As of late, Prince William and Middleton have not also met Trump in person.
