Kate Middleton Recycles Another Outfit, Attends Church Service Ahead Of Birthday
Kate Middleton recently attended a church service with Prince William, Pippa Middleton and Prince Philip.
On Sunday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted making their way to St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham to attend the Sunday service just days before her birthday. Middleton will be turning 36 on Tuesday. The pregnant royal was all smiles as she walked with her husband and Prince Charles, People reported.
For the outing, Middleton wore a tweed coat with gold buttons. It gave a glimpse of her growing baby bump. The ensemble is another recycled outfit from the Duchess' wardrobe. Middleton had already worn the military-style jacket during the Christmas Day celebrations in 2014. At the time, she was still in the early stages of her pregnancy with now 2-year-old Princess Charlotte.
Middleton paired her ensemble with a brown fur trim hat and matching gloves. She has also worn these items during multiple occasions. For instance, in March 2006, she was seen sporting them during the Cheltenham Festival in Gloucestershire.
Aside from the trio, Queen Elizabeth II was also seen heading to church. However, the monarch opted to drive rather than walk. Pippa was also spotted with her husband, James Matthews.
Middleton is known for recycling outfits. Prince William's wife is not shy to wear her outfit again on multiple occasions.
For instance, when Prince William and Middleton released their Christmas card in December, many noticed that the duchess' outfit was not new. In the snap, the family wears a coordinated pale blue ensemble.
For their family portrait, Middleton opted for a Catherine Walker suit that featured feminine accouterments, peplum belted waist and a peter pan collar. The Duchess of Cambridge first wore it when she made her first solo overseas trip to the Netherlands to meet King Willem-Alexander at Villa Eikenhorst. She wore it again in July for Camilla Parker-Bowles 70th birthday.
Just recently, Prince William and Middleton released a Christmas Thank You card for their fans. In the photos, the Cambridges were all smiles as they stare at the sky to watch the flypast over Buckingham Palace.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are most grateful for the kind message you so thoughtfully sent for Christmas. Their Royal Highnesses send you their warmest thanks, with very best wishes for Christmas and for the New Year," the message read
