Kate Middleton Sends Heartfelt Letter In Support Of The Children’s Hospice Week
Kate Middleton has recently prepared an inspiring letter that highlighted the importance of the family spending quality time together.
The Duchess of Cambridge has shown her support for one of her beloved causes, the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). In a heartfelt letter posted on the charitable organization Together For Short Lives website, Kate has shared a special message to commemorate the Children’s Hospice Week. The said event started on May 23 and will end on May 29.
The campaign aims to spread awareness of children with life-shortening conditions, as well as inform the public on the kind of support or services that they need. In the letter, Prince William’s wife stated that family members spending quality time together is an “important aspect of family life.” She also cited that the “simple act” of families caring for children with life-limiting conditions can be “incredibly challenging.” Kate even mentioned how providing constant care for these children can lead to family members making complicated arrangements just to enjoy “activities that so many of us take for granted.”
Kate then commented on how children’s hospices and palliative care charities can offer “families under incredible pressure” a lifeline. She stated that these organizations’ can provide “amazing and life changing support” to affected children and families in need. “This support gives these families the space they need to simply spend time together, which is so important in the most difficult times imaginable,” the Duchess added.
The royal mother-of-two ended her heartfelt letter by inviting the public to join her in supporting the Children’s Hospice Week. “We need to help these families treasure their precious time together,” Kate stated.
A link to the same message has also been shared through the official Twitter account of the organization Together For Short Lives. In the said social media post, a previously released picture of the royal family was included that showed Prince William, Kate, as well as Prince George and Princess Charlotte posing in what appears to be a big lawn.
Meanwhile, Kate serves as the Royal Patron of the charitable organization EACH. The said group is just one of the charities that the Duchess has supported over the years.
