Kate Middleton looked festive while promoting an upcoming royal Christmas concert.
The Princess of Wales, 40, appeared in a new promo for "Royal Carols: Together at Christmas," an upcoming second annual Christmas carol concert sponsored by The Royal Foundation, People reported.
"Join us this Christmas Eve for a very special service at Westminster Abbey, full of festive carols and beautiful performances, as we celebrate what makes this the most wonderful time of year," she said in the promo, which aired Sunday evening.
Middleton also shared via her and husband Prince William's official Instagram and Twitter accounts snaps from the promo.
In the photos, she wore a sparkling red gown featuring lacy, semi-sheer sleeves with floral appliqués and a cinched bodice, according to Elle. She previously donned the look by Needle & Thread in January 2020 for a state reception.
Royal fans praised Middleton's look and expressed their excitement for the Christmas concert.
"Our Princess looks so Christmassy. I can't wait to watch her carol service," one commented. Another added, "We can't wait! The Princess of Wales looks so beautiful."
"From the USA, you set a great example for all young girls and women with your service mindset, dignity and perseverance. Thank you!" a third person wrote.
"A role model of duty, service and dignity," a fourth fan opined.
The upcoming Christmas concert will be a royal family affair as Middleton will be joined by Prince William, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla for the Thursday event at Westminster Abbey in London.
The festive event organized by the Princess of Wales will bring together other members of the royal family with charity staff, community volunteers, frontline workers, military personnel and more to "celebrate the joy that human connection can bring," Buckingham Palace said in a release.
"This year's carol service is dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the values Her Majesty demonstrated throughout her life, including duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion and support for others," the palace continued.
"These principles are shared and personified by the inspirational guests who have been invited to the Abbey in recognition of their tireless work to help and care for those around them," it added.
Middleton hosted her first Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey in 2021 as a tribute to the work of individuals and organizations across the U.K. who supported their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The second volume of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix docuseries will be released on the same day Middleton's Christmas concert will be held, prompting journalist Jonathan Kearsley, a U.S. correspondent for Nine Network Australia, to suggest that the Sussexes and the royal family are engaging in a "publicity battle."
"A week after [the first volume], the next three episodes drop, and on that very day, King Charles and Camilla will be joining William and Kate in a show of unity at a carol service as those final three Netflix episodes go," the journalist said.
"The one thing you can guarantee right now is that certainly, these divided sides of this royal family are not singing from the same song sheet at all," he claimed. "This is very much an image fight over publicity. It is an image fight over a legacy."
While it will be recorded Thursday, "Royal Carols: Together At Christmas" will air on Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. EST on ITV1.
