Kate Middleton Stuns At Wimbledon With Prince William After Meghan Markle Outing
Kate Middleton once again came to Wimbledon, but this time with her husband, Prince William.
On Saturday, the Duchess of Cambridge watched the women's final with her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. Royal fans have been hoping to see the two duchesses at the event, and they finally stopped by to watch the matches. On Sunday, Middleton watched the men's final with Prince William.
In the photos shared by Express, Middleton stunned in her yellow dress. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seated at the royal box at Wimbledon's Centre Court where Serbia's Novac Djokovic defeated South Africa's Kevin Anderson for the Grand Slam title.
Before the final match began, Prince William and Middleton were photographed talking to former Australian tennis player Rod Laver, who won the men's singles in 1981, 1962, 1968 and 1969. Laver is one of the greatest tennis players of all time with 11 Grand Slam titles.
Middleton has been making several appearances lately, even if she's still on maternity leave. A week ago, she was seen at Prince Louis' christening. During the event, she arrived at the Royal Chapel carrying her newborn in her arms. It was the first time that the Cambridges' family of five was seen together.
Prince Harry, Markle, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles were there as well to celebrate Prince Louis' special day. Middleton's family, including her parents, Michael and Carole, were present as well. The duchess' sister, Pippa Middleton, came with husband James Matthews.
A day after the event, Middleton joined Prince William, Prince Harry, Markle and the senior royals at the Royal Air Force Centenary celebration. The Duchess of Cambridge's attendance wasn't expected at the event. When Emily Nash of Hello! announced the event, she deemed it as the next big royal outing. She named which the royals would be there, but Middleton's name wasn't mentioned.
According to royal biographer Duncan Larcombe, Middleton is not expected to return to her royal duties until October. However, she can pick which events she wants to attend.
"It is traditional for new royal mums to take a six-month break from official engagements," Larcombe told Harper's Bazaar. "The wedding doesn't count because it was a 'family affair' but other than that, she will pick and choose her engagements. If she wanted, Kate could disappear into the background until October!"
