Kate Middleton Style: Magnificent in Magenta for Christmas at Sandringham [PHOTOS]
All eyes were on Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, this weekend when she joined the Royal Family for their traditional Christmas morning church service at Sandringham. Prince Philip didn't make it to the service, as the Duke of Edinburgh continues to recover after having heart surgery.
Middleton looked magnificent in an aubergine coat and magenta hat.
It was Middleton's first Christmas as a member of the Royal family.
Several British media have reported that the knee-length coat the 29 year old wore was created by an independent british designer. Her heels were from LK Bennett, the hat was a Jane Corbett creation.
Middleton, who topped Harper's Bazaar's list of Britain's Best Dressed in 2011, also wore a pair of diamond earrings as she joned her husband, Prince William, and other Royals for the service. An estimated 3,000 people gathered outside the church this year.
It was reported that Middleton was expected to make five outfit changes for Christmas Day.
Royal etiquette expert Jean Broke-Smith told Grazia magazine that Middleton would start the day off with a casual outfit for breakfast, then wear a smart outfit and hat for the morning service and a dress for lunch. Middleton would also need a cocktail dress for pre-dinner drinks and a full-length dress to attend the night's meal, .
