Kate Middleton dropped by her son Prince George’s school this week for a very touching reason.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is a supporter of mental health especially among children, attended a speech by mental health activist Hope Virgo at Thomas’s Battersea. The talk was conducted as part of the Mental Health Awareness Week in the United Kingdom.

After Virgo’s speech, Middleton took the time to talk to the activist. Virgo told reporters that it was an honor to meet the mom of three. On her Instagram account, Virgo detailed her encounter with Middleton.

“This morning, I spoke at Battersea School and it was absolutely amazing and a real honor to have the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, attend to hear me speak. We had a lovely chat at the end about all the work she is doing on mental health… And because you can’t take photos, you get these wonderful dogs who are so well looked after at the school… What a fantastic day!” she wrote.

However, the post has seen been deleted from Instagram.

In related news, Middleton went to Prince George’s school by herself because Prince William was at another engagement this week. The Duke of Cambridge met up with a group of soccer players who he spoke with regarding his mental state after Princess Diana’s death.

Prince William’s conversation with the group of athletes will be featured in BBC’s special program on Sunday.

“I think when you are bereaved at a very young age, anytime really, but particularly at a young age – I can resonate closely to that – you feel pain like no other pain. And you know that in your life it’s going to be very difficult to come across something that is going to be an even worse pain than that,” he said.

Prince William was just 15 years old when Princess Diana passed away following a fatal car crash in Paris.
