Kate Middleton wears cheaper clothes than her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

On Monday, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out to visit the “Back to Nature Garden” she co-designed, which debuted at the Chelsea Flower in May. Middleton was stunning in her green printed Sandro dress that featured a V neckline and a defined waist with pleats and buttons.

The Printed Flowing Midi Dress that Middleton wore in her recent engagement only cost $198.63. The price is so much cheaper compared to the Duchess of Sussex’s A-line dress she wore when she and Prince Harry watched a baseball game on Saturday.

For the said outing, Markle wore a black frock designed by Stella McCartney. The dress fell just above her knees, showing off her legs. It featured a gold buckle detail that accentuated her post-baby figure. The dress cost $1,035.

Markle paired her dress with fashionable pointy flats from Aquazzura that retail for $737. On the other hand, Middleton opted to pair her green dress with a Castañer Carina 60 Canvas Wedge Espadrilles that only cost $130.

Markle’s outfit in her recent engagement was about $1,800. On the other hand, Middleton only spent about $330 for her wardrobe.

Earlier this year, Emily Hodgkin of Express reported how Markle spent more on her wardrobe in 2018 compared to Middleton. The Duchess of Sussex reportedly spent $500,000 for her new ensembles because she had the Commonwealth tour in October where she and Prince Harry visited Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.

The amount was six times more than Middleton’s wardrobe expenses because the Duchess of Cambridge only spent $87,000 for her outfits in the same year.

Between the two duchesses, Markle also has more extensive jewelry collection than the future queen. The former “Suits” star has 91 pieces which include seven necklaces, 23 bracelets, 26 rings and 35 pairs of earrings. On the other hand, Middleton only owns 60 items in her jewelry vault.

Markle has been slammed for overspending, but the duchess seemed to not care about the criticism. Earlier this year, her luxurious baby shower in New York received intense backlash, but according to an insider, she had no regrets about it.
