Kate Middleton is winning more hearts after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s exit.
Middleton just revealed that she felt cut off and isolated when she moved to Wales following Prince George’s birth. According to Lorraine Kelly of The Sun, following the duchess’ revelations, “we all fell a little bit more in love with her.”
The Duchess of Cambridge’s tough pregnancy was not a secret. Middleton suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum in all of her three pregnancies. In her first pregnancy, she was still recovering when the moved to an area far away from her home, friends and family.
The royal mother of three confessed that she would have loved to have had a similar community centre where she could have made friends and met other women who could relate to her predicament that time. At present, Middleton is focused on helping improve the lives of children 5 years old.
Kelly said that Middleton can instantly put everyone in the room at ease. She also makes children very comfortable with her around.
“She has a knack of talking to children that is never patronising but makes them comfortable enough to tug at her skirt and ask her to help them wash their hands,” Kelly wrote.
“It’s a rare skill and one that will be invaluable as the Royal Family undergoes a modernisation period, becoming leaner, more streamlined and remaining relevant.”
The royal family has faced several scandals lately from Prince Andrew’s Epstein controversy to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s resignation. Kelly believed that even if the royal family is having a hard time, they have hope because Middleton is their “trump card” and she will be the future Queen of the people.
Last Monday, Middleton joined Prince William, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex at the U.K.-Africa Investment Summit at Buckingham Palace. According to some netizens, the duchess looked tired and old. Another said that she seemed to be struggling.
In related news, according to a psychic, Prince William and Middleton’s eldest child Prince George will never be king. Georgina Walker said that Prince William will be the last king of the monarchy. She implied that Middleton’s son will not have the same privilege and honor because by then the monarchy will be abolished.
