Kate Middleton Won’t Have Fourth Child Due To Large Age Gap With Louis?
Kate Middleton and Prince William fans want them to have as many children as possible. In fact, they have been speculating on the Duchess of Cambridge’s fourth pregnancy for the past couple of months especially since Middleton will be turning 38 in January.
But on the online forum site Quora, one royal fan said that she thinks it is unlikely that Prince William and Middleton will have another baby. Diane Bachmann, a graduate from the Rochester Institute of Technology, said that last summer, she was convinced that the royal couple would make a pregnancy announcement.
However, when it didn’t happen, Bachmann said that she thinks her prediction was incorrect. The royal fan initially thought that a fourth pregnancy announcement was looming months ago since the royal couple’s children have similar age gaps.
Prince George was born in 2013, while Princess Charlotte was born in 2015. Prince Louis was born three years later.
The royal fan also said that Middleton talked about her two older children’s relationships and said that they have a very close bond possibly due to their close age gap. As such, Bachmann was convinced that Prince William and Middleton were trying to have a baby shortly after Prince Louis’ birth so that their third and fourth child will also be close in age.
“But my theory has proved incorrect because, given the fact that Louis will be 18 months old tomorrow, the window has apparently closed for an age gap under 2 years,” the royal fan said.
Meanwhile, other royal fans also discussed whether or not having more than three children is irresponsible for both environmental and political reasons. Months ago, Prince Harry said that he and his wife, Meghan Markle, will only have two children to help save the environment.
Deanna Eppers, an ardent follower of the royal family, said there shouldn’t be an issue if Prince William and Middleton want to have four or more children as long as they could raise them well.
