Kate Middleton was recently photographed by Karen Anvil, the single mom who also took the picture of the royal with Prince William, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle on Christmas Day in 2017.

In the snap, the Duchess of Cambridge is walking on the red carpet with a huge smile on her face. The candid photo also shows how excited Middleton was to see Anvil because she was looking straight into her camera.

Anvil and her daughter were at the EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday. They were able to capture Middleton’s attention after Anvil’s daughter, Rachel, told the duchess that she looked beautiful in her white gown.

On her Twitter account, Anvil shared the photo of Middleton and said that all of the credit should be directed to her daughter because she was the one that captured the royal’s picture.

In 2017, Anvil and her daughter were two of the hundreds that braved the cold to get a glimpse of the royals as they walked to the church in Sandringham for their morning service. After screaming like a fan-girl, Anvil was able to catch the attention of Middleton and Prince Harry at the same time.

The single mom’s photo showed Markle almost looking at her camera. But Prince William was gazing elsewhere. Still, the picture made it possible for Anvil and her daughter to live a more comfortable life because they were able to rake in a huge sum of money from it.

In December, Anvil spoke with BBC about the Royals’ Christmas photo and said that it was like a lottery win for her. The Norfolk resident said that the single snap gave her a regular monthly income.

“The biggest change for me was that it was so nice to go shopping at Tesco and not be worried about whether I’ve got the cash in the bank,” she said.
