Kate Middleton’s children Prince George and Princess Charlotte “lean on each other” for a reason.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very hands-on when it comes to their brood. They always spend time with their kids during their school break and this helps Prince George and Princess Charlotte share a unique sibling bond. According to a royal source, the two kids are very close that they rely on each other.

“They are close in age, and they spend so much time together,” a source told People.

“Playdates [with outsiders] can be tricky, so they learn to lean on each other.”

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are very different. The third in line to the throne is “more reserved” while Princess Charlotte is “more outgoing.” Between the two, Princess Charlotte bosses around her big brother.

In May, the Cambridges visited Middleton’s “Back to Nature” garden for Chelsea Flower Show. In a clip shared on Twitter, Princess Charlotte and Prince George can be seen running around and getting their feet wet in the water.

In one scene, Prince William asked his daughter if she could help Prince George. Princess Charlotte unapologetically turned down her dad by saying “no.” In the same clip, she can be heard yelling at her big brother, “George! Quicker, George.”

Despite their differences, the royal siblings are very sweet. In April 2018, Prince William visited Middleton shortly after she delivered Prince Louis. The Duke of Cambridge took Prince George and Princess Charlotte along and hold them in each of his hand. Princess Charlotte was in great spirits and was all smiles as she waved to the crowd. On the other hand, Prince George was too shy to do the same.

When the trio was insider the facility, Prince William let go of his kids’ hands. The two kids walk ahead, Princess Charlotte approached Prince George and he put an arm around his sister’s shoulders.

In related news, Princess Charlotte made headlines after she stuck her tongue out when she and Prince George joined their parents at King’s Cup Regatta last week. Middleton laughed at her daughter’s antics. However, according to body language expert, her mom, Carole Middleton, wasn’t amused with Princess Charlotte’s gesture and looked as though “she might be thinking of nipping this playful naughtiness in the bud.”
