An automobile was owned by Kate Middleton (now the Duchess of Cambridge) is on sale online.

The blue compact Volkswagen Golf is being auctioned on eBay. The car was frequently seen in photographs while Kate was being courted by Prince William.

The car was reportedly purchased in 2001 for about £10,818.

Media reports indicate that Kate’s brother, James, sold the car to a used car dealer in Reading, England for £1,400. At that time, it had logged about 60,000 miles.

According to The Daily Mail the VW has been appraised at nearly £30,000.

The car was listed in eBay with a minimum bid of £20,000, with four days left in the auction.
