Kate Middleton’s Sister Pippa Arrives At Lindo Wing; Is She In Labor?
Kate Middleton’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton, arrived in St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing on Monday.
According to Harper’s Bazaar, Pippa is already in labor and will give birth any minute now. Royal reporter Robert Johnson was the first person to break the news about Pippa heading the hospital where the Duchess of Cambridge also gave birth to her three children.
Pippa’s husband, James Matthews, was also seen arriving at the hospital by himself with two overnight bags in tow. Pippa, on the other hand, entered the facility in her long blue coat, white shoes, and sunglasses.
The British socialite has not announced her due date, but multiple publications claimed that she’s expected to give birth to her first child this month. There were initial speculations claiming that Pippa would give birth on the same day as Princess Eugenie’s wedding on Oct. 12.
If this happened, Middleton wouldn’t have been able to attend the royal event with Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte because she will be staying at the hospital with her sister. When Middleton gave birth in 2013, 2015, and 2018, Pippa also visited her at the hospital.
Pippa also attended Princess Eugenie’s wedding at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle last week. She was photographed wearing a green long-sleeved dress and hat. As of late, the gender of Pippa and Matthews’ baby has not yet been revealed.
It has been common practice among female royals to not announce their baby’s gender before birth. Even though Pippa is not considered a royal, she may have decided to follow in her older sister’s footsteps. Middleton’s babies’ genders were only revealed to the public minutes after they were born.
Prince George was born on July 22, 2013, Princess Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015, and Prince Louis was born on April 23.
